(PostDoc, Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, System and Behavior Unit)
I got my Ph.D. degree at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, US in 2008. Then I moved to Harvard medical school affiliated McLean Hospital to continue my research as a postdoc. In 2010 spring, I joined the department of brain and cognitive sciences (system and behavior unit) at SNU as a post doc. My research topics include biological motion perception, motion perception, and working memory in healthy people and in schizophrenia patients. During my 2 years at BCS, I published couple of my studies on working memory and biological motion perception in schizophrenics in the SCI/SCIE journals (PLos ONE, JINS, Visual Cognition etc) and have been conducting an fMRI study on biological motion perception and its underlying neural mechanisms with Prof. Sang-Hun Lee and Randolph Blake.
From Mar 2012, I will start my new job as an assistant professor of psychology department at Duksung Women's University in Seoul, which excites me. Since my academic interests and research topics include both clinical and experimental aspects of cognitive sciences, I hope to have active cowork with BCS even after starting my new job at Duksung Women's University. Lastly, I would like to appreciate Prof. Lee, Prof. Blake and the lab members their help and support.
