1) 지원서 접수 전 담당교수 사전 면담 필수(담당교수 복수 선택 가능 / 이메일, 유선 및 직접 방문 등으로 필히 사전 컨텍 요망)
2) TEPS-664점 이상, TOEFL-CBT 233점/IBT 90점/PBT 577점 이상 (TEPS or TOEFL 중 한 종류 만족)
(단. CBT, PBT는 박사과정 지원자가 석사과정 입학 시 또는 논문제출자격시험에 사용한 성적에 한하여 인정, 석사과정 지원자는 IBT성적만 인정)
3)석․박통합과정: 석사 및 박사학위 과정이 통합된 학위과정 / 통합과정 이수중단 시 학칙 및 규정이 정하는 기준에 따라 석사학위 수여 가능
4) 결제 완료된 후에는 지원 취소, 정정, 변경 불가
5) 석사 지원, 석박통합 지원 여부를 신중히 결정하여 지원 요망(석사로 지원했다가 석박통합으로 변경이나 취소 절대 불가)
6) 4월 26일 금요일 오후 6시(18시)까지 접수 및 결제가 완료되어야 함

For the Master's Degree Program |
|
He or she must hold a Bachelor's degree, or is considered by the admission committee to have an acceptable intellectual competence at the level of someone holding an equivalent or higher degree.

| For the Combined Degree Program |
|
| He or she must hold a Bachelor's degree, or is considerer by the admission committee to have an acceptable intellectual competence at the level of someone holding an equivalent or higher degree. |

| For the Doctoral Degree Program |

He or she must hold a master's degree, or is considered by the admission committee to have an acceptable intellectual

| For All Applicants |
|
Applicants should submit a score report of a recognized English proficiency test (TOEFL, TEPS, IELTS, etc.). Native
speakers of English are exempt from this requirement. A score higher than 664 for TEPS or 90-91 for TOEFL (IBT) is
required. The test results should be sent/reported to the College of Natural Sciences, Seoul National University by
Mon 4/29/13 for Korean students (for Fall 2013 Admission) and Fri 02/28/13 for International students.

| CRITERIA |
|
1. Admissions decisions are based on the candidate's academic achievements and potential, as well as
his or her personal accomplishments and demonstration of leadership.
2. The admissions committee reviews a number of factors: records of past studies (such as grade point average
or GPA), the study plan, personal statement, and letters of recommendation. Other achievement records and
specific qualifications such as language proficiency are also taken into consideration.
The candidate's application is reviewed in the context of the level of studies completed, quality of achievement,
and characteristics of institutions attended. Finally, the appropriateness of the applicant's academic goals and
suitability of preparation for the proposed program of studies are assessed. |
