Stereotaxic surgery

Ⅰ. Neuralynx Electrophysiological Data Acquisition System - Neuralynx cheetah system allows collecting electrophysiological signals through multiple channels (expandable up to 1024 channels). For example, it is possible to carry out electrophysiologically recording multiple single unit responses simultaneously in freely behaving animals.
Ⅱ. Eight-core machine - A computer with eight CPUs working in parallel with large memory capacity to analyze a large dataset such as electrophysiological dataset recorded in parallel from multiple channels.
Ⅲ. Stereotaxic surgical system - Stereotaxic surgical systems are used to surgically target a specific brain region by putting the animal’s head in a multi-dimensional coordinates. For example, certain brain regions can be lesioned or electrodes can be implanted in a specific brain area through stereotaxic neurosurgery.
