Procedure for International Students

International Students status refers to any student who is not a Korean Citizen and a student who have finished or be scheduled to finish one’s formal education outside of Korea.

  1. Click here to see if you are eligible to apply.
  2. Find “International Admission” at the SNU website and create an account.
  3. Applications for admission will be accepted from February 22nd to April 8th, 2010.
  4. The Required documents should arrive at the College of Natural Sciences by 9th of April.
    Applicants must have already completed the online application.

  1. The application fee (90,000 won or $US 75) must be paid online. However, if you are unable to pay the application fee via online, you should include the fee with the application materials you send by mail as a form of a check.
  2. For more information about admission's timeline, please visit

NOTE
  • Documents you need to submit when applying online are: application, study plan, a passport photo in jpeg format, and a copy of your TOEFL score report.
  • Documents you need to mail to Admissions Office are: 1 letter of recommendation, official transcripts, and an official score report of a recognized English proficiency test (TOEFL, TEPS, IELTS, etc.).
  • Native speakers of English are exempt from this requirement.
